TMZ recently reported that Olympian Michael Phelps had owed the IRS $23,289.16 in overdue taxes for the years 2005 and 2006. Too bad it wasn’t the Michael Phelps that the world knows, but rather a random guy with the same name who lives in California. TMZ has been known for false reporting before. This is usually thanks to Harvey Levin and his overbearing ego to get “Exclusive” stories. But to defame people should be the one stop shop for a defamation lawsuit. Let’s all hope Harvey Levin gets a taste of his own medicine.
